The success story of RomeCup 2015, a strategic development axis for smart specialization policies, will play out at a school in downtown Rome: the Istituto d’Istruzione superiore Leonardo Da Vinci on via Cavour 258, right by the Coliseum.

Rome - March 25-27, 2015
IIS Leonardo Da Vinci, Via Cavour 258
Campidoglio, Sala della Protomoteca
The ninth edition of the RomeCup opens today, March 25, at 10 am, with a conference on “Robotics, Start-ups and Technology for Work.” The Conference will feature two sessions with students, innovative start-ups, research centres, universities and companies. Five entrepreneurial ideas selected from schools will be presented through an elevator pitch.
The second session is inspired by an innovative form of collaboration developed to safeguard our seas, Ninfa: the enterprise network model with the participation of research centres and universities represents the most promising investment, also in terms of interaction with secondary and primary schools. The availability of low-cost advanced technology has a potentially immense market and can create medium and high-qualification jobs in the maritime sector.
