Fondazione Mondo Digitale knowledge partner of Italia Genera Futuro, an event organised by Corriere della Sera
Next Monday, 9 March, the Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan will host the Italia Genera Futuro event, promoted by Corriere della Sera to celebrate the companies featured in the Champions 2026 ranking, Italian companies with a turnover of between €30 and €500 million that stand out for their growth, innovation, internationalisation and focus on human capital.
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is participating in the initiative as a knowledge partner, helping to prepare students who will have the opportunity to talk directly with entrepreneurs and leading figures from the world of economics.
The morning event will be attended by around 70 students and teachers from two secondary schools and two ITS Academies in Milan:
- IIS Schiaparelli–Gramsci, with head teacher Francesca Giuranna
- Liceo Carlo Cattaneo, led by head teacher Maria Rizzuto
- ITS Academy Angelo Rizzoli
- ITS Academy Innovaprofessioni
The preparation and coordination of the schools is handled by Cecilia Stajano, community manager for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, who accompanied students and teachers on their journey towards meeting the leading figures of the Italian economy.
The meeting focuses on dialogue between young people in training and businesses, offering students the opportunity to engage with some of the leading figures of the Italian economy. Guests included Francesco Mutti, CEO of Mutti, Giuseppe Lavazza, president of the Lavazza Group, Urbano Cairo, president and CEO of RCS MediaGroup, and Luciano Fontana, editor-in-chief of Corriere della Sera, together with representatives from Borsa Italiana, Crédit Agricole Italia, Sace, Kpmg and Edison Next.
The initiative also represents an important opportunity for collaboration with the ITS Academy in Milan, with which the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is working in such a structured way for the first time.
Bringing students and businesses together in the same space for dialogue means creating concrete opportunities for guidance and discussion with those who are currently driving innovation and growth in Italian businesses. Initiatives such as Italia Genera Futuro show how important it is to strengthen the link between training, human capital and economic development, in order to help the younger generation imagine and build their own professional future.
