The all-female Coding Girls Tour promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the American Embassy in Italy in collaboration with Microsoft has reached Rome.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 19, the FMD Phyrtual Innovation Gym (Via del Quadraro 102) will host 20-30 young women aged 13-23 for an afternoon of coding (1-6 pm).
The sessions will be held by Giorgia Di Tommaso and Valentina Gelsomini.
Francesca Meini interviewed some of the protagonists of this adventure, the young women who have chosen to become coding coaches.
Today, we listen to Valentina Gelsomini (33) who has a degree in Aerospace Engineering. During her studies, Valentina had to overcome a number of obstacles in a nearly exclusively male environment. Now, she has turned her energy towards helping younger women to transform coding into a great adventure to overcome stereotypes.
