The first week at the English Summer Camp organized by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale just ended for the 12 young participants who experimented building robots, monsters and castles in the Fab Lab with open source software such as Thinkercad and laser cutters. They also explored the Coding Lab and immersive reality programming interactive videogames with Scratch and a webcam, playing with the Oculus, HTC Vive, Leap Motion and building their first robots with the Lego Education Kit in the Robotics Centre.
An entire week of interactive labs with the help of teachers Simone and Nikhil who organized games and activities in English: stop-motion stories invented by the children to increase their linguistic skills.
The second week at the English Summer Camp begins today and ends on June 23. Over 20 participants have registered.
Registration is still open for the third and final week at the Summer Camp: July 3-7.
