One of the strategic areas of the Italian Digital Agenda is the diffusion of computers and digital skills to the elderly population. In particular, the aim is to address the problem of social inclusion and promote the use of ICT to guarantee a better life quality to citizens.
In this context, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the Azienda Pubblica Servizi alla Persona “Ambito 9” (APS) in Jesi have signed an agreement to promote the Grandparents on the Internet digital literacy programme to elders in the Regione Marche.
By uniting the experience of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale on the creation of an inclusive knowledge society and the peculiarity of an agency such as APS that provides social services to the most disadvantage cateogries, the aim is to develop local innovation projects involving schools and local agencies.
