Orientainsegnanti is the conference that Confindustria, in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of University, Education and Research, hosts each year to help teachers reflect on the role that they play in didactic innovation and school-work programmes.

The 2015 edition of “Didattica Attiva” provides teachers with the opportunity to exchange ideas with entrepreneurs on how to best conduct school-work programmes, as well as to understand the true role of technical education to boost the country’s economy.

The ninth edition of the conference will also host an awards ceremony for the best school innovation projects, which will receive a “Didattiva Award”. Moreover, awards will be presented to virtuous partnerships between schools and enterprises in the fields of digital and interactive learning, labs and educational projects oriented to imparting skills, and school-work programmes.

Maria Punturo, who teaches at the Rome IIS Pacinotti-Archimede (lead partner in the National Network of Phyrtual Innovation Gyms), also participated in the competition. Ana Lain, School Innovation Manager for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will also be present at the conference.

The FMD and IIS Pacinotti-Archimede have been collaborating for a number of years and many former students have become coaches in the FMD’s digital learning environments. And thanks to one of these many collaborations, the Phyrtual Innovation Gym will soon see a new Youth Accelerator.

Three awards will be presented:

  • School-Work Programme
  • Didactic Lab and Skills-oriented Courses
  • Digital and Interactive Learning

For each category, awards will be presented to the teacher and entrepreneur who have worked most enthusiastically to the creation of a specific and successful didactic innovation project.
