Block Coding

This week, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be in the suburbs of Bari for Project OpenSpace. The Istituto comprensivo B. Grimaldi - L. Lombardi will host coding labs with Coach Nicola Liuzzi in the new Coding Lab at the Bari Phyrtual Innovation Gym.

The labs will involve students from three first-year first-degree primary school classes who, from 8 am to 2 pm, will explore the world of block coding with Scratch, the intuitive programming language developed by the MIT Media Lab Lifelong Kindergarten Group.

On Thursday, October 24 (3-6 pm), teachers will participate in an educational session on “Introduction to Block Coding. Basic Concepts and Applications of Artificial Intelligence.”

The various activities conducted by partners as part of OpenSpace – Active Spaces for the Active Participation of the Educational Community are described on the Percorsiconibambini.it Blog that hosts all projects selected by Con i Bambini as part of the Fund to Contrast the Educational Poverty of Minors.
