The digital storytelling module for young, aspiring facilitators participating in the educational course organised by Project Welcome ends today. During the two previous meetings, held byAnna Uttaro and Federica Pellegrini, participants were introduced to the basic principles of storytelling and learned to develop a storyboard using creative techniques and tools, such as stop motion, to narrate stories.

Today, Fiammetta Castagniniwill help the young migrant students learn about post-production techniques and software tools to produce their first original video.

European Project Welcome, financed by the Fund for Asylum, Migration and Integration at the Central Level, involves five European member states: Italy, Belgium, Greece, Germany and Spain. The objective is to develop and test an innovative methodology to promote the inclusion of third country nationals in educational, social and cultural activities, with a particular focus on activities that creatively employ new technology.
