Marco (26) studies computer engineering at the Rome Sapienza University. He has very clear ideas about his future. He intends to specialize in medical robotics and work on aides for individuals with motor disabilities.

 

In the meantime, however, Marco is cultivating his passion for videogames at the Officina – New Jobs Workshop where he has decided to take the Game Lab All4All track to understand how to develop a videogame.

 

What Marco may ignore is that his chosen profession and his passion are growing increasingly closer. In fact, prostheses are already being tested that help disable children to play …

 

 

The Officina – New Jobs Workshop is a project conceived by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Google to promote digital skills and implement professional training and orientation activities for 10,000 young men and women currently looking for a job. The initiative has been organised with the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the collaboration of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, the Regione Lazio and Roma Capitale.
