Roma Genera Impresa offers free courses in the neighbourhoods of Tor Bella Monaca, Corviale and Santa Maria della Pietà
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale, in collaboration with Roma Capitale, is launching new digital training and support courses for citizens, young people and local entrepreneurs in the neighbourhoods of Tor Bella Monaca, Corviale and Santa Maria della Pietà.
The initiative, part of the Roma Rigenera Impresa programme and funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), aims to strengthen people's digital and professional skills while supporting the entrepreneurial fabric of the local areas.
The programme includes free courses ranging from learning Python to creating simulated businesses, as well as modules dedicated to start-ups, digital marketing and digital citizenship, with a particular focus on crucial issues such as privacy and cybersecurity.
Python is now one of the most widely used and versatile programming languages, used in areas ranging from artificial intelligence to data analysis, to the development of web applications and teaching tools. Its simple and intuitive syntax makes it accessible even to those approaching coding for the first time, while providing a solid foundation for more advanced professional careers in the digital sector.
The activities are part of a genuine proximity training programme, designed to bring knowledge and tools directly to neighbourhoods. Some skills, such as those related to Python, have the ability to accelerate change processes: they open up new professional opportunities, but above all, they strengthen confidence in one's own abilities and help to enhance widespread talents, which are fundamental for the personal and collective growth of local communities.
The aim of the initiative is to involve 300 citizens, accompanying them on a concrete path of personal and collective growth.
