The tenth thematic week underway at the Rome Città Educativa is dedicated to digital literacy in schools and proposes labs for the development of audio-visual products, from project to mastering, including post-production audio/video editing lessons, game sessions to understand game styles and genres, interactive experience (videogames) and immersive (virtual reality) sessions to learn about interactive story-telling techniques.
These are the didactic activities that Roman students will be able to attend at the Rome Città Educativa, as well as two special events on May 13 and 15: a meeting with Ellen Stofan, Chief Scientist and Councillor to the Nasa Director for Scientific Programmes and Inventor Carlo Boschetto.
The meeting, which will also be streamed live on www.ambasciatausa.it/stofan, aims to promote the debate on the dynamism of technological inventions and their scientific results, as well as required competences and sector opportunities.
On Friday, May 15, for the launch of the new Disney movie “Tomorrowland Days” at movies around Italy, starting May 21, three major Italian museums and science/technology labs, in partnership with Focus, the Naples “Città della Scienza” and the Trento “Museo della Scienza” will present the Tomorrowland Days.
The fifty workshop participants will enjoy a unique experience, discussing their creative ideas with experts, to use technology to improve tomorrow’s world.
