Off to Sheffield

European Project Make: Learn: Share: Europe, which began in November 2015, is coming to an end. Implemented as part of the Erasmus Plus Programme - Forward Looking Cooperation Projects Action, MLSEurope developed learning opportunities for young men and women, promoting the exchange of information and knowledge and driving peer learning.

Today, the Italian delegation is leaving for Sheffield to participate in the last, intense common work session, the final conference that involves digital ambassadors from all partner countries: Italy, Spain, Sweden, Lithuania, and the United Kingdom.

The conference will be held on October 23-25 at the Wilson Carlile Centre in Sheffield.

The five digital ambassadors with the Italian delegation were selected from the 38 who participated in the Open School Unit 2018 and the 125 participants.

Each digital ambassador organized and held a course of no less than nine hours on robotics, digital making, coding, programming, virtual reality or gaming. And, notwithstanding the fact that it was their first experience, all the young ambassadors revealed great resourcefulness and professional attitude.

The delegation was chaperoned by Fiammetta Castagnini, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale educational and multimedia expert, who worked on the various project phases, Vincenzo Polizzi, Digital Ambassador 2016 and currently coach at the Fondazione Mondo Digitale [see news: The Mayor’s Expert ].

The closing week of Project Make: Learn: Share: Europe will be about learning and exchanging experiences with an outlook to soon involve the 215 motivated students that we have met in these three year in new activities.
