Reading, tools and training to prepare for the future
Summer is a time for a break, but also a time when ideas can take root. Between reading under a parasol and a stroll through a quieter city, it can be the perfect opportunity to explore topics in greater depth, revisit stories and discover new tools.
On the Fondazione Mondo Digitale website, you can look back at some of the experiences that have marked the last few months: from the RomeCup 2026, featuring projects developed by young people, researchers and businesses to tackle major social challenges, to programmes dedicated to teachers and schools aimed at promoting an ethical, critical and inclusive use of artificial intelligence, right through to initiatives designed to strengthen the skills required by a constantly changing world of work.
Alongside the news and stories, we invite you to explore the Resources section, where we have compiled materials designed to be consulted and used over time: guides, practical tools, in-depth analyses, teaching kits, publications and educational content. This resource is open to teachers, students, families, professionals and members of the public, and is useful for navigating emerging technologies, digital education, inclusion and new skills.
Summer may also be the perfect time to browse through the 2025 Social Report, which recounts a busy year of activities and, at the same time, the first twenty-five years of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. In 2025, we engaged nearly 200,000 people through 57 projects, 530 training programmes, around 30,000 hours of training, a network of 161 partners and 800 schools.
More than just a collection of figures, the Report tells the story of an ecosystem built in collaboration with institutions, businesses, universities, third-sector organisations, schools and local communities. It is a way of sharing our results, approach and vision, but above all of thanking everyone who has contributed to this journey.
In September, we will resume our journey with new projects, new challenges and a programme of initiatives dedicated to a special milestone: the 25th anniversary of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, to be celebrated together with the communities that have made this story possible.
Updates to the website, however, will resume on Monday 24 August.
