CS First MOOC

CS First MOOC

CS First MOOC

We continue to work together with Google to provide schools with simple and functional tools, such as Computer Science First, that help to develop computational thought and transversal competences in a soft and pleasing manner. CS First, in fact, is a free platform that allows didactic activities to be integrated with more efficient methodologies to teach and learn new languages – and not just learn how “to code.”

The many activities are especially dedicated to primary and first-degree secondary school teachers, as well as support teachers, who are already specialized in the diversity of students with special needs and disabilities.

Besides real labs (which, to date, have been conducted on-line due to the Covid-19 emergency), the project also includes a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) to develop new educational projects to include in curriculum mapping and a selection of transversal activities that each teacher can implement and custom-tailor to their needs to develop new, attractive pedagogic solutions.

Courses begin today, September 15, with a webinar held by Valentina Gelsomini and Alessandro Bogliolo.
