Education and Future

The Covid-19 emergency was especially hard on the world of education, uncovering its structural, didactic, technological and social frailties. At the same time, however, it also highlighted the work of many “daily heroes” who worked hard to provide students with psychological support and on-line lessons. We are all aware that we will not simply be able to turn the clock hands back to a pre-Covid era. This must provide the necessary impetus to rethink school and modern education as an inclusive system integrated with the world of work.

The second edition of “Re-imagining Education” will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, June 9, 3:00 – 4:30 pm). The event-debate has been organized by the Institute for Entrepreneurship at John Cabot University (JCU), the Cultura Lavoro Observatory (OCL) and Teach for Italy to rethink school and academics, both in terms of technology and the teaching of competences.

The live Facebook session will include school administrators, teachers, university professors and company representatives.

Speakers:

  • Silvia Pulino, Director, JCU Institute for Entrepreneurship
  • Andrea Pastorelli, CEO, Teach for Italy
  • Fabio Scognamiglio, Administrator, Value4You
  • Alessandro Valera, Founder and Co-director, Ashoka Italia
  • Alfonso Molina, Founder and Scientific Director, Fondazione Mondo Digitale
  • Antonella Salvatore, Founder, OCL
