The first digital literacy course held at the “Casal del Marmo” Juvenile Detention Centre as part of Project 2R – RESET&RECODE was conceived by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with CPIA 3 to introduce juvenile delinquents to the use of computers, coding and digtital manufacturing.
During today’s meeting, a group of participants from the female section of the detention centre will conclude its course with a special meeting with a small delegation from the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. Fiammetta Castagnini and Debora Cavalli will hold a lab on audio-visual production to portray, through a series of short videos, the lab experience of the young women.
During the previous lessons, under the guidance of Coach Valentina Gelsomini, the young women learned about computers through fun activities addressing a wide range of topics: music, cooking, robotics, graphics, painting, etc.
All of these activities and their impressions about the course will be used to produce a playlist of music and images that will soon be available on the Fondazione Mondo Digitale’s YouTube Channel.
