"I decided to participate in She Means Business because, as a woman, I believe it is beautiful to help other women achieve their dreams and promote their business on-line.” Today, in Palermo, Giusi Messina, Brand Advisor and Digital Marketing Specialist, will host the first training session in Sicily for #SheMeansBusiness, the Facebook programme that promotes women in enterprise. The project is implemented in Italy in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
The women participating in the training session will be welcomed by the President and Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and Councillor Iolanda Riolo.
WOMEN IN TRAINING
DATA
About one hundred women of different ages and with different experiences will participate in the training event. Nearly half of them are young students who have become interested in self-enterprise thanks to Project Women in Technology, promoted with Costa Crociere. The other half includes women of all ages, up to 55, but only 30% has any entrepreneurial experience. And 13% is looking for a job. Two women are on an internship and two are employees. What’s Giusi’s greatest challenge? Managing to provide concrete answers to 100 such different women, who dream about an entrepreneurial future in different sectors, ranging from clothing to tourism.
