Activities for schools, universities, the third sector and local communities

Next Saturday, 24 January, marks International Education Day, established by the UN in 2018 to reaffirm that education is a fundamental human right and a strategic lever for peace, sustainable development and social inclusion. This anniversary falls at the end of the week and offers an opportunity to highlight the training and support activities promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in the preceding days, aimed at schools, students, teachers, citizens and educational communities.

Here is the schedule of events planned from Monday 19 to Sunday 25 January.

Throughout the week, there will be numerous training courses and online meetings dedicated to the development of digital skills, guidance and informed citizenship.

  • Coding Girls & Women
  • Webinars and training sessions to guide students towards STEM disciplines and help reduce the gender gap in scientific and technological careers.
  • Coding Girls Power Up
  • Training activities aimed at female students, with a focus on enhancing digital, transversal and self-orientation skills.
  • Digital Bridge
  • The Small and Medium courses and modules dedicated to life skills continue as part of the digital inclusion and citizenship project aimed at volunteers and operators in the third sector.
  • Experience AI
  • Online meeting dedicated to artificial intelligence and its applications in education, with a particular focus on the development of critical skills.
  • Digital licence. Training modules dedicated to:
    • emerging technologies and artificial intelligence;
    • critical thinking;
    • web reputation and security in digital identity management.

The Future of Care
Spazio Acquedotto della Palestra dell'Innovazione

Workshop for the project The Future of Care, aimed at patient associations. A whole day of work dedicated to storytelling, relationships and innovation in care pathways, through participatory methodologies and opportunities for discussion. The trainer is Nicoletta Vulpetti.
